At Louisville Grows, we believe everyone deserves to live in a neighborhood where trees thrive, gardens flourish, and people are connected to the natural world and one another. Together, we're planting trees that will shade future generations, supporting gardeners, restoring neighborhoods, and empowering residents to care for the places they call home.

Every neighborhood deserves clean air & water, cooler streets, healthy soil, and access to fresh food. Yet many Louisville communities continue to experience tree loss, extreme heat, poor air quality, and limited access to green space. As our city grows and climate challenges increase, Louisville Grows is proudly working to ensure that every resident can enjoy the benefits of a healthier neighborhood.

Last year, your support through Give for Good helped make this work possible. So far this year, your support has helped us achieve:

• 🌳 350+ trees planted and distributed throughout Louisville neighborhoods, with hundreds more on the horizon for this fall’s planting season.

• 🤝 250+ volunteers engaged, contributing 1,000+ volunteer hours to tree planting and neighborhood stewardship.

• 🌿 7,300+ plant starts distributed and sold through Seeds & Starts, increasing access to fresh, healthy produce.

• 🌳 13,000+ shrubs, perennials, and grasses planted at Alberta O. Jones Park.

• 🌱 600+ plants distributed to community gardens across Louisville.

• 📚 15 educational programs and workshops provided for residents, students, and volunteers.

This Give for Good, Help Us Reach $35,000

We're raising $35,000 to purchase a new work truck.

This truck will help us transport the trees, plants, tools, equipment, and supplies we need to bring our work directly to neighborhoods across Louisville.

For a small nonprofit, a reliable truck is one of our most important tools. It allows us to plant more trees, support more volunteers, and bring green infrastructure to the neighborhoods that need it most.
