Right now, families recovering from the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela urgently need safe drinking water. Water By Women has set a goal of raising $10,000 to provide portable water filters to 800 families affected by the earthquakes.

Safe Water Can’t Wait

On June 24, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela, damaging communities and displacing thousands of families. In places like La Guaira, families are beginning the difficult work of recovering and rebuilding.

But before they can rebuild, they need safe water.

Bottled water can provide temporary relief, but it quickly runs out. A portable water filter gives a family a reliable way to turn available water into safe drinking water throughout the emergency and long after the initial response has ended.

Help Us Reach 800 Families

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to provide water filters to 800 families affected by the earthquake in Venezuela. Through special disaster pricing from Sawyer Products and Water By Women’s volunteer distribution network, your generosity will help provide and deliver portable water filters to families who need them most. Each recipient of a water filter shares clean water with 3 other families, multiplying the impact of your gift.
