Since 1996, Louisville Adaptive Rowing (LAR) has offered the sport of adaptive rowing—or para rowing—to people with physical, visual, and intellectual disabilities.

With adaptive equipment, skilled coaches, and welcoming volunteers, LAR empowers both recreational rowers and competitive athletes to experience the freedom of rowing.

Contributions from Give for Good will allow Louisville Adaptive Rowing participants to compete at the 2026 Bayada Regatta in Philadelphia, one of the largest and longest-running para rowing events in the world.
